Autumn is the perfect time to celebrate Pinot Noir, and us Aussie make some of the best Pinot in the world. With this dinner we celebrate this holy grail grape variety, labelled thus due to it’s difficulty in production and at perfecting the ideal end result.
9 Wines, 3 Course Dinner (3 wines per course)! Details below.
But there is a twist. Each wine will be served blind, 3 different price points with each course to highlight a pinot noir at
$30 - $40, $50 - $70 and $120 - $200.
Can you pick which is which?
We will showcase Icon producers, Mount Mary (Yarra Valley), Bindi (Macedon) and By Farr (Geelong) up against a few of my personal favourites: Home Hill (Tas), Hurley (Mornington Pen) Fighting Gully Rd (Beechworth) and 3 mystery wines to keep it interesting.
