Aromatic with notes of black and red berries, pepper, black tea, and earthy tones. Deep fruit concentration, almost a touch gamey, with a good core, excellent grip, ripe tannins and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish.

Like the best Heathcote reds, it's rich and very moreish, perhaps even with a slight elegance to the mouthfeel. From the superb 2019 vintage, this is packed with soft of fudgey dark fruit still with plenty of tannins and length to give it years yet.
